Journalist Zoreslav Zamoyskyi was killed by the Russian military in the spring of 2022, during the occupation of Bucha.
Zoreslav’s death became known only after the liberation of the Kyiv region. His body was found with signs of torture on Bohdan Khmelnytskyi Street in Bucha. The circumstances of his death are still unknown.
Zoreslav Zamoyskyi was born in the city of Dnipro. For a long time, he lived in Irpin in the Kyiv region. He covered political life for local internet outlets such as Information Portal and Gromada Pryirpinnia.

Shortly before his death, Zoreslav had documented the war and kept a war diary.
“It’s quiet outside. Only single distant explosions are heard sometimes. Tanks and other machinery have long departed for an unknown place. God alone knows what will happen at night. I can only guess,” Zamoyskyi wrote in his last public Facebook post.
